The case was item number 80 and it begins on page 827. City Council approved the item with one change – the masonry wall along the eastern property line is not required if the property to the east is development with 28 units or more. Attached you will find only item 80.

Preston and Northwest Highway Area Plan Survey

Project Description: The purpose of this study is to develop a Preston Center and Northwest Highway Area Plan that will examine existing conditions and future needs and improvements within the area. The approach will be an integration of the following: transportation operational improvements, land use intensity and mix, and context sensitive design. The North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) is partnering with the City of Dallas on this effort. Kimley-Horn is the primary consultant performing work.
Project Area MapAn Advisory Task Force (ATF) has been formed from representatives of various neighborhoods interested within the study area. The ATF will provide input to the project scope of work, help coordinate and guide consultant tasks, and review deliverables.
