PD 15 Authorized Hearing

On Wednesday, September 11th the City Council will hold an Authorized Hearing to vote on the CPC and Staff recommendation for PD 15. Below we have included information regarding when and where the City Council meeting will be held as well as instructions for how to sign up to speak at the meeting. If you have strong feelings about PD 15, we encourage you to sign up to speak so the entire Council can hear your perspective.

Signing Up to Speak
A speaker can sign-up prior to the public hearing by contacting the City Secretary's Office (
https://dallascityhall.com/government/citysecretary/Pages/default.aspx
) or can come down to the microphone when the case is called during the public hearing to speak.

Please reference Section 6.3 Citizen Speakers (pg 13-16). Specifically, see Section 6.3(d)(3) for time limits for citizen speakers for zoning changes:
(3) For called public hearings concerning applications to change zoning, to remove a flood plain designation, to change the name of a street, to use park land for another purpose, and similar cases, each person who registers will have a maximum of three minutes to speak, or if the city council approves by a majority vote, each side of the issue will be allowed a maximum of 15 minutes to make a presentation.
A Note on the 6pm Start Time
Zoning items will be heard beginning at 6pm on Wednesday, September 11th. PD 15 is agenda item #46 and is the first of the individual zoning items. The full agenda can be viewed
